In 2000, the company inherited the renowned footwear label Emilio Franco®, a brand with roots dating back to 1980, beloved by retailers coast to coast—from New York to California. Behind MaTiSte® are two visionary creators, first-generation Italian Americans who found their muse in their father and uncle, the original creators of Emilio Franco® footwear. Their dream, born from family legacy and Italian pride, blossomed into MaTiSte®.

As our journey unfolded, we expanded our creative offerings to include the sleek, sophisticated Duca By MaTiSte® footwear line and our timeless MaTiSte® handbags. In 2014, the acquisition of Fennix® of Italy, known for its exotic leather footwear, marked a new chapter—further enriching our collection for discerning retailers across the United States.
